360 Groundcare prepare the foundations for a successful future at Denbigh Town

As Wales slowly drags itself out of yet another lockdown, and with ground conditions drying off, the specialist 360 Groundcare crew led by Managing Director and ex-Denbigh Town stalwart Miles Todd have been hard at work down at Central Park.

The surface is now taking shape prior to the sanding and seeding process with only minimal evidence remaining that a sophisticated drainage and sprinkler system now lie beneath the newly laid surface.

Excitement builds in the Denbigh community, with hopes that the playing surface will be ready for action as early as the end of August 2021, only four weeks into the confirmed 2021-22 season.

Demi Llion, first team manager stated “It’s been a frustrating time for grassroots enthusiasts and we simply cannot wait to get going. The new surface will enhance player performance and the club’s reputation throughout Wales”.

No pressure lads!

Successful funding bids to the Clocaenog Wind Farm Community Fund, Sport Wales and Denbighshire County Council Community Fund and the continued backing provided by Lock Stock Storage have ensured that the club can implement a very sophisticated solution which will ensure that the playing surface can be maintained at a very high standard, and recover quickly during the harsh and wet winter months.
