Striker Luke Appleby has decided to leave Denbigh Town Football Club to join local rivals Llandyrnog United.
In a statement to fellow reserve team-mates Appleby wrote that he's left Central Park for the chance to play first team football.
Luke 'Madness' Appleby made a clean sweep at last year's end of season awards winning the Manager's Player of the Year Award, the Player's Player of the Year Award as well as claiming the Top Scorer title for the reserves.
Appleby's most memorable moment in a Denbigh shirt came away at Colwyn Bay last season when he scored a thunderbolt that rattled in off the bar which inspired the team to go on and win the league.
The frontman has scored three times in six appearances for DTFC Reserves this season and will be a great asset for Llandyrnog United.
Good luck Madness!
