MATCH OFF | Denbigh Town v Bangor 1876

Following a pitch inspection at 12:30 this afternoon tonight’s game against Bangor 1876 has been postponed.

A tier two referee attended the ground to assess the surface and following the inspection, the pitch was deemed unplayable.

Following heavy rain in recent weeks and previous use of the pitch, the surface has been unable to recover and won’t do so despite the dry forecast this afternoon. The decision, therefore, was made to save supporters and players from travelling unnecessarily by inspecting the pitch earlier in the afternoon.

Groundsman and volunteers have worked on the pitch relentlessly but despite their best efforts, the match will now need to be rearranged once more.
