New signing at Denbigh Town.

Having retained his squad from last season and completed the transfer of influential defender Stuart Jones to Central Park, manager Dewi Llion has signed another top player.

27 yr old midfielder Matty Morris has made the move from neighbours St Asaph City down the vale to Denbigh. Matty who was with Rhyl for a number of years before moving to St Asaph is a tricky footballer, who looks after the ball, and is an excellent addition to the set up as manager Dewi Llion prepares for the new campaign.

He has been a top man on the park at St Asaph City FC for the past three years and when asked about the move said " I will always have good memories of St Asaph and have always done my best there and I wish them well. I do feel the time is right now, though, to come to Denbigh and I want to give it a good go here and do well. The manager has explained what he wants and where he wants the team to be at the end of the season. I am looking forward to the challenge. "

Dewi said " Matty is a great signing for us. I have kept an eye on him over the years and I am glad he has agreed to join us. He'll give us competition at full back and centre midfield. He has already shown us in training he is great with the ball at his feet and he doesn't mind a tackle either."

Welcome Matty. Looking forward to seeing you perform

... and well done Wales!
