Midfielder Dion Gibbins joined Denbigh Town in January 2024.

Gibbins began his footballing journey locally before being spotted and signed by Shrewsbury Town. He spent time at the New Meadow before further academy football at the likes of Ruthin Town and Bala Town.

In 2015 he signed for Cefn Albion beginning a long-running stay that took him from the age of 16 to his departure at 24 where he will made the step up to the JD Cymru North for the first time.

During the 2022/23 campaign, he made 27 league appearances scoring five goals as Albion reached the promotion playoff, losing out to Bangor 1876.

In January 2024 he opted to switch to Central Park, making his debut as a substitute against Mold Alexandra in the WBS League Cup.
