Two goals from defender Liam Roberts (pictured) and one from Ciaran Lucas were enough to see the Reserves claim their second league win of the season .
The match was switched to Llandyrnog’s Cae Nant due to Central Park holding the First Team’s game at the same time.
Manager Nick Hailes was looking for a better performance from his lads after a 4-1 defeat at Conwy in their last outing and he had the response he wanted with a much better display from his youngsters. He also gave the opportunity for some players from the Youth Team to join the squad . 17 year old Shaun Knuppel and 16 year old Rhys Peters both came on as substitutes to make their second half debuts for the team.
Denbigh took the lead on 24 minutes through Liam Roberts and two minutes later were two up thanks to a Ciaran Lucas strike. Llandudno pulled one back in the second half through Harry Croston, before Roberts’ second of the afternoon on 82 minutes sealed the win.
