Weekend kicks off with local derby on Friday

This weekend sees both our Reserve Team and Development Team play their first league matches of the season.

The weekend kicks off with Llandyrnog Reserves v Denbigh Reserves at Cae Nant , Llandyrnog tomorrow Friday 17th August with a 6.30pm kick off [ Welsh Alliance website may still show 7pm ]

Our young lads, coached pre season by manager Kev Roberts assisted by Johnny Roberts and Gareth Hughes, are raring to get things started and are looking forward to the game. I am sure they would welcome your support at Llandyrnog whose side is now managed by Nick Hailes and his two assistants who were all with our Development side last season. Bound to be a good game with a little zing.

It will probably be a nervous time for young joint managers Aled Douglas and Daniel Whitfield as they play their first game in charge of the Development Team at Central Park on Saturday 18th August against Penrhyn Bay. Kick off 2.30pm. Good luck lads!

Our First team are home again at Central Park on Saturday 18th August 2.30pm ko against Flint Town United. It is going to be very tough against a strong side especially as Denbigh have players suspended and injured. Read what Matty has to say in our Match Preview to be published this evening.
