Denbigh Town have discovered their opponents for the Third Round of the JD Welsh Cup.

Dewi Llion’s side will travel to Llanrwst United of the Lock Stock Ardal North-West, with the tie taking place on the weekend of the 15-16 November.

Town advanced to this stage with a 4-2 victory over Llangefni Town on Saturday with a brace from Harrison Bellis as well as strikes from Nathan Brown and Paul Fleming.

Llanrwst United meanwhile suffered a fright on the weekend when Fourth Tier Cerrigydrydion led at Gwydir Park before the returning Callum Parry netted twice in the final ten minutes to send the third tier side through.

The Third Round tie will be Denbigh’s first at this stage since 2018 whilst they look to advance to the Fourth Round for the first time since 1972, 52 years ago.
