Managers continue with rebuild of team

Both these talented brothers from Cefn Berain, 23 yr old Sam Jones and 21 yr old Thomas Jones, are very well known in the area and both have put pen to paper and agreed to join Denbigh Town.

Sam has played for Denbigh previously and will always be remembered for scoring that winning goal that put Denbigh into the final of the Welsh Premier League cup in the 2015/16 season. He has since played for Holywell, Ruthin and also Llanefydd in the Welsh Alliance. He is a very skilful, tricky forward who generally plays out wide and very capable of scoring goals. He said of his return to Central Park " Very happy to be back and exited at being part of the new squad. Both Matty and Dewi have coached me previously and both have top qualities which I hope will get the best out of me and the team."

Tom has previously been with Rhyl, Ruthin and Llanefydd. Whilst at Rhyl under Gregg Strong he completed a trial period with Bolton Wanders before returning to North Wales. Tom is also very comfortable on the ball playing in the middle of the Park. He told us " Dewi and Matty are big factors in me signing for Denbigh and , yes, we are both looking forward to working with them and doing our best for Denbigh Town. Looking forward to getting going now!"

After the signing Matty said " We are delighted to have Sam and Tom join the squad. Having worked with Sam before I know that he has tremendous ability and it is down to us as much as him to ensure it comes out whilst representing Denbigh. Tom is a player both Dewi and I know and he has the right ability and attitude. Again we want that in a Denbigh shirt."
