Manager Gareth Thomas has spoken to the web site ahead of this weekend's Word Cup Final against holders TNS.

Gareth has taken time out from his busy schedule, to speak to the website on the eve of theWord.Cup final.

It’s a fantastic achievement to reach the final, but for me we have to make sure that all the players realise getting the final is not job done. We have a trophy to win and outside of our changing rooms no one else will be giving us a chance. The players deserve great credit for getting to the final and putting the club on the map, I feel from speaking with various people from other clubs and various league officials everyone feels as though the success of the club getting to the final has been a breath of fresh air for Welsh Football.

The final will be a superb occasion for everyone involved within the club and also for the supporters, sponsors and the Town of Denbigh. It has raised the profile and that is something that can only help in the future as the club looks to continue to improve facilities at Central Park.

Onto the day and Perry is hopeful that everyone will be available for selection on the day with a slight doubt over forward Paul Hart who has been troubled with a hamstring strain. The players are in good spirits and have been training hard the last few weeks. The weather hasn't helped with games being postponed but we have managed to get on both Airbus and Llandudno artificial pitches which we hope will help. The players are all looking forward to the game and are all keen to put on a performance that will make everyone proud but they are also focused on the job in hand and realise the size of the task in trying to beat the best team in the Welsh Pyramid System.

We have heard the stories over the tickets that have been sold which is superb support for the club, it has to be said the players have also played their part by buying the tickets for the junior girl’s players to make sure they can attend on the day. They have also got a few surprises for the mascots on the day and all are looking forward to the day.

I would also like to thank the committee and sponsors for their support in helping the players prepare properly for the game and can guarantee we will give it our best effort during the game to try and continue our superb story this season in the Word Cup.
