Big crowd expected for Bangor's visit to Central Park

Denbigh Town welcome Bangor City for the first time in the Huws Gray Alliance league tomorrow evening [ Friday ] with a slightly later kick off of 7.45pm.

Bangor City are one of the most famous clubs in Welsh football and have regularly been one of the top teams in the Welsh Premier League but were relegated last year to the Huws Gray Alliance due to licensing issues. They are determined to go straight back although they have not had everything their own way during the first four matches having suffered a home loss on Tuesday against Porthmadog who are also one of the teams looking at that top spot.

A big crowd is expected and it will be advisable to arrive early. There is extra parking in the field next to the ground via a gate near the entrance but this is not ideal if we have heavy rain which is a possibility as thundery showers are forecast in the area. There is parking to the rear of The Railway pub and in the town itself where there is a new shopping area near the traffic lights which will involve a short walk to Central Park.

Denbigh will have to be at their best to get anything from the game but the managers and players are determined to start picking up points soon having not had the best of starts this campaign. We will turn the corner and it may well happen tomorrow !

We spoke to Matty about this match and Tuesday's game at Ruthin and he replied " Tuesday night's 2 -1 defeat to Ruthin was very disappointing and something we will be looking to put right here tomorrow. We spoke to the players at length after the game and they know what is required moving forward. It is down to us now to respond in a positive manner and to produce the performances we know this group are capable of. We are a new group, a new squad, so we know it will take time for everyone to gel and be comfortable with each other. We are looking forward to Bangor coming here and hopefully a good crowd can help us along the way. "

A big game under floodlights. There will be a great atmosphere so don't miss this one!

Remember - 7.45 pm kick off but please arrive early especially if you are driving.

£6 entrance fee for adults. Season tickets still available for bargain price of only £30.

C'mon Denbigh !
