This is a very important game for The Reds who can still finish in second place in the league but we, almost certainly, will need to beat Gresford and then win at Holywell in our last match on May 2nd.

Gresford will finish in a respectable position in the league and could easily have finished in the top four or five but for a number of indifferent performances in games where they might have done better. We would like to congratulate them in reaching the Huws Gray Cup Final which they achieved after scoring eight goals past Llandudno Junction in the semi final with Jake Eyre scoring a hat trick. They have league champions Caernarfon visiting Clappers Lane on Friday and then play Flint in the Cup final at Ruthin on 5 May so one or two of us carry a faint hope that they may have other things on their mind tomorrow night ! I think we are being wishful though and Eddie Maurice- Jones has prepared for a very tough match.

Denbigh will be without Matty Cooke once again but at the time of writing we have heard of no other players being unavailable.
