Denbigh have a completely new team and a new management set up with Dewi LLion ,Matty Jones and Pete Lloyd. All are eager to get started after a very busy pre season.

Our opponents Gresford have also been involved in some re building and although they have lost star players Max Peate and Dave McIntyre to Rhyl they have been very good in in the run up scoring a lot of goals with Jake Eyre being amongst the goal scorers.

We spoke to Matty and he said " We are really looking forward to opening our season this Friday. In what has been a turbulent and extremely enjoyable pre season we are all now focused and looking forward to the season getting started. We have had a productive few months and are now looking to implement the work done in training and in friendlies into competitive football. We are very pleased with the way the squad is shaping up and are hoping we can hit our potential early on and hit the ground running. We are hoping for as many fans as possible to come down and get behind the team. "

All are welcome at Central Park and we hope the people of Denbigh will come and support their local football team. Entrance fee is £6 for adults, £3 for pensioners and free for u16s, however, season tickets which include entrance for all first team and reserve team league games will be available on the night for only £30.
