Denbigh will travel to Cae -Y Castell in a determined mood

This time last season Denbigh lost 3 - 1 at Flint. Steve Cunningham and Alan Bull were both playing but have since switched sides and we at DTFC hope that the result will also be switched this year. Manager Eddie Maurice - Jones is determined but also under no illusions about the task ahead.
Eddie spoke to the club " I believe Saturday's fixture will be one of our toughest tests this season. Flint are a very strong Cymru Alliance side with both quality and depth. I expect a high tempo and physical game which I'm sure the players will relish.
We will have to match our work ethic and playing standards previously set to reach our goals. We have built some momentum up of late and it is vital we carry it into the game.
Kristian Pierce is absent through suspension and will be sidelined for four games. This is a major blow and something we need to learn from as a group. Our discipline and man management of games needs to improve and we have to learn from our mistakes.
Steve Cunningham is returning to the squad and will face his former club after returning from a one match ban.
Denbigh will also be joining up with a familiar face in Alun Bull. Alun was a great player for Denbigh and I'm sure he'll be a success at Flint "

Denbigh currently lie fourth in the league after a good run of results and are looking to consolidate their place near the top. Flint have had three wins, three defeats and two draws and hope to start climbing from their mid table position starting this Saturday. It is going to be a good one !
