Gwion Dafydd

Forward Gwion Dafydd had a superb month that saw him involved in five of Town’s ten goals during December and January. The 20-year old struck a brace in games against Guilsfield and Gresford Athletic, picking up a Player of the Match award in both fixtures. Dafydd also provided an assist against Guilsfield, involving himself in all three crucial strikes in the 3-2 win.

Nathan Brown added to his tally as top scorer for the campaign whilst also turning provider on a couple of occasions. Against Brickfield, he was vital by grabbing an equaliser before his superb assist for Matthew Worrall saw Town leave with three points.
Ben Lockley

Lockley featured in every minute for Town, with all of them coming as captain. On Boxing Day he assisted Town’s goal against Ruthin and on New Year’s Day he racked up his 100th league appearance for the club. Outstanding defensive displays, including crucial interceptions against Guilsfield, saw him continue his fine form.

Max Cooke has found a new lease of life in the middle for Town this season, and finally clinched his first goal for the club against Ruthin on Boxing Day. Cooke played every minute during December and January in a variety of roles, and has excelled throughout that time.
