The April Player of the Month vote is now open with a bumper five Town players nominated for the award.

Owen Davies, Billy Holmes, Aaron Jones, Paul Fleming and Nathan Brown are all in contention to scoop the gong this month which saw Town win one, lose one and two draws in their four games.

Owen Davies

Forward Owen Davies ended the season in some style with a superb five goals in four games. The TNS loanee netted a brilliant hatrick against Llanidloes at the beginning of the month before ending the campaign with a goal from the halfway line against Bangor 1876, his 10th goal of the campaign since joining in January.

Billy Holmes

Assists: 2

Defender Billy Holmes had a month to remember when he netted his first goal in two years away at Llanidloes. He capped it off with an assist in the same match in mid-Wales. At home to Flint in the following game his cross was turned home by a Silkmen defender in a 2-1 loss, a contribution made on his 100th league appearance for the club.

Aaron Jones

Assists: 0

Goalkeeper Aaron Jones has been in fine form this season and had a superb April. He began the month with a clean sheet against Llanidloes before making a string of excellent saves in matches against both Flint Town United and Bangor 1876.

Paul Fleming

Assists: 4

Skipper Paul Fleming had another superb month that saw him both on the scoresheet and at his creative best. He netted a brace in the 7-0 thrashing of Llanidloes whilst also providing an assist that afternoon, before setting up two in the draw with Bangor. At the beginning of the month against Caersws he set up a vital leveller for Davies.

Nathan Brown

Assists: 3

Finishing the campaign as the club’s top scorer for the second year in a row, Nathan Brown added to his tally with a strike against Llanidloes whilst grabbing three assists in the same match to show his creative prowess. Only the Bangor custodian denied him on the final day as he showed his threat once more to see out the year.
