Denbigh Town are straight back into the action on Tuesday night with a trip north to take on Llandudno.
Following two wins in the Nathaniel MG Cup Dewi Llion’s side will be looking to reach the Quarter-Final of the competition for the first time since reaching the Final nine years ago.
Llandudno v Denbigh Town
Date: 16/09/2025
Kick-Off: 19:45
Location: Measdu Park
Competition: Nathaniel MG Cup
Form
Town come into the game on the back of a barnstorming 5-1 win over Flint Mountain on Friday night. Goals from Sam Duffy, Gwion Dafydd, Alfie Vaughan, Bobby Beaumont and Matthew Worrall secured the three points at Central Park. Town’s solid start to the season has seen them place third in goals scored in the Cymru North so far.
So far in the competition Town have two wins, the first coming from behind in July to beat Flint Mountain before a shoot-out victory over Rhyl.
Llandudno were just a short way up the road on Friday night as they made the trip to Ruthin Town. Unbeaten in the league so far, the Seasiders hadn’t conceded a goal in the league until last weekend in their 3-1 success.
Llandudno entered at the Second Round stage where they delivered a brutal 7-0 hammering of Gresford Athletic at Maesdu Park.
Head to Head
We met twice last season in the Cymru North with the most recent coming at Llandudno in February. In hellish conditions with the wind and rain swirling Town took an early two goal lead via Nathan Brown’s double, but Llandudno fought back including a stoppage time leveller. In our Central Park meet up Town ran rampant with a 6-2 win in October.
Stat Pack
Dewi Llion will break the record for the most Denbigh Town matches as manager with 226 on Tuesday night.
Ben Lockley could make his 125th appearance for the club.
Bobby Beaumont could make his 25th appearance for the club.
Matthew Worrall needs three more goals to mark 50 for the club.
