Denbigh Town Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Findlay Starkey-Jones.

The 19-year-old joins the club following a season with fellow Novira Cymru North side Newtown, where he featured prominently in mid-Wales.

The former Shrewsbury Town youngster made 39 appearances in all competitions last year, having moved into senior football fully for the first time.

He began his academy career with The New Saints before being spotted by EFL side Shrewsbury Town in 2022, remaining at the Croud Meadow until the summer of 2025.

Following his departure from Shrewsbury, he signed for Newtown, where he featured 27 times in the Novira Cymru North along with a further 12 cup appearances, and picked up silverware in the Central Wales FA Cup in May.

He now makes the switch to Central Park ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
