Lockley’s achievements at Denbigh are significant including League and Cup successes along with a string of individual honours, and now has the opportunity to grow that list at Central Park.

Denbigh Town Football Club is delighted to announce that Ben Lockley has extended his stay with the club.

“I’m really pleased to extend my stay at a club that I’m proud to represent” said Lockley.

“It’s been a really good four years for me personally and as a team, so extending my time here was an easy decision.

“Not the aim is to push on from last year and achieve what we’re capable of”.

“Ben has been perhaps one of the most important players at the club in the last decade, so to have him commit to us again is fantastic.

“He came in a raw young player and has grown to become one of the best players in the JD Cymru North, which is something we’re all proud of.

“A really important player on the pitch and in the dressing room, Ben is an big piece for us and someone we were keen to secure early, we’re thrilled”.

Lockley joined the club in the summer of 2022 and played a vital role in picking up the Lock Stock Ardal North-West title and Lock Stock Ardal Northern League Cup.

In 2025 he started his 100th straight game for the club in all competitions, having not missed a game for more than three years. He’s scored 15 goals in 147 games so far for Denbigh, and picked up a string of awards, including Supporters Player, Players’ Player and Manager’s Player of the Season in previous seasons.
