Denbigh Town Football Club are delighted to announce that defender Bobby Beaumont has put pen to paper to extend his stay with the club.
Beaumont, 23, joined the club in January from JD Cymru Premier outfit Flint Town United and has hit the ground running at LL16, featuring 13 times and scoring twice, including a stunning volley on his debut.
He now commits his future to Denbigh where he will remain for the 2025/26 campaign as the club looks to build on two successful seasons back in the Cymru North.
“I’m really pleased to commit my future to Denbigh Town” said Beaumont.
“Since arriving in January we’ve managed to achieve what we set out to do which was to stay away from trouble in order to build for next year.
“Now we’re looking to challenge at the right end next season, and to do it with a great group of lads and with a club that’s investing in the future was a simple decision”.
“Bobby was a superb capture for the club in January and someone we were thrilled at having at Denbigh” said manager Dewi Llion.
“He came to us with professional experience and has elevated the side since joining, fans will have seen his quality already in the past five months and we’re thrilled to have him signed up for next season”.
Beaumont began his career with Wrexham where he made three appearances, before signing for Sunderland in the summer of 2020.
He spent a season at the Stadium of Light before returning to Wales, featuring for Caernarfon Town and Flint before hopping over the border to spend a season with Vauxhall Motors.
He returned to Flint in the summer of 2024 making 17 appearances in the Cymru Premier before signing for Denbigh in January.
The versatile defender made his debut against Holywell Town in January where he opened the scoring for Town. He has started every game since signing whilst he also scored a second goal for the club in the 5-0 win at Buckley in March.
Good to have you with us, Bobby!
