Denbigh Town can confirm that Luca Bennett has departed the club.

The versatile 20-year old has left the club in order to seek further playing opportunities elsewhere.

Manager Dewi Llion said “Luca has been a good servant to the club and we wish him all the best.

“He leaves having contributed to a superb season last year and I’m sure he has a bright future ahead of him”.

The former Prestatyn Town midfielder signed for Town in January 2023 from Rhuddlan alongside his brother Harvey and made 14 first-team appearances for the club scoring once.

He has appeared once this season for Denbigh, coming off the bench in our 1-0 win over Chirk AAA in the Nathaniel MG Cup.

Luca was part of the squad that picked up double honours last season in both the league and cup.
