Denbigh Town Football Club are delighted to announce that forward Sam Duffy has penned a new deal with the club.
It sees Duffy remain with the club throughout the 2025/26 campaign following a successful first season at Central Park.
The 23-year-old joined the club in the summer and has had success so far in his 26 appearances, bagging seven goals for the club.
“I’m really happy to commit to the club for next season after a good start here” said Duffy.
“I could see the progress being made on and off the pitch here from the moment I signed and that’s something I want to be a part of.
“I’ve been playing regular football, scoring goals and doing it with a great group so it was a simple decision when Dewi spoke with me about committing my future”.
Boss Dewi Llion added “Sam’s been a really important piece for us this season so to tie him down for next year is really positive.
“He’s come in to the group late on in the summer but settled in really well, and after a couple of seasons with a few different clubs this will be a great chance to full engross himself in the side.
“He’s one of the more experienced lads in a young team and has played at a higher level, so he’s got a lot of value to us and someone I’m looking forward to continuing to work with”.
Duffy joined the club in August 2024 following a brief spell with Prestatyn Town. He’d previously played for the likes of Flint Town United in the JD Cymru Premier, Holywell Town and Mold Alexandra where he won the WBS League Cup at Central Park in April 2024.
Duffy has made 25 appearances so far and scored seven goals, including on his home debut back in August.
Good to have you with us, Sam!
