Denbigh Town Football Club can confirm that Reserves Manager Liam Nash will depart the club at the conclusion of the 2023/24 campaign.

Nash took the role in December 2022 and quickly improved a struggling side and transformed them in to a competitive team with a series of players progressing to the first-team.

Previously a player with Denbigh Town, Nash has also coached the first team picking up double honours with them in 2022/23 and was also a part of the set-up for the Ladies team.

Chairman Shon Powell said “Liam has been a real asset to the club in his many roles and had a great impact on our Reserves department.

“He has transformed the side over the past 18 months with a young hungry team with local players who have had a pathway to the first team.

“We hope to see Liam back at Central Park sometime in the future”.

Denbigh Town wishes Liam all the very best in his next role where he will take charge of Llandyrnog United in the North Wales Coast East Football League Premier Division.
