Denbigh Town continued their pre-season campaign on Friday night with a 2-2 draw with a Connah's Quay Nomads XI.
Town lead twice on the night via a Harrison Bellis double but the Nomads fought back both times to see it end level at the Quay 3G.
Bellis, who missed the first friendly a week previous, made up for lost time by netting a double as he moves up from the fifth tier to the second next season and began his pre-season perfectly.
The young Nomads side showed real quality and determination to come from behind as many of those in red will be looking to break through to the first team in the JD Cymru Premier next term.
Town will next be in action on Friday with a trip to Maes Tegid to take on Llanuwchllyn.
