Denbigh Town Resereves played their second pre-season friendly in the space of 48 hours on Friday evening as they travelled to Connah’s Quay.
Jordan Baker’s side who played out a 3-3 draw with CPD Gronant on Wednesday continued their momentum with a superb 4-1 win over a young Nomads side.
Goals from Gruff Rogers, Olly Hansen, Saheed Kanli and Tom Salisbury saw Town run riot at the Quay 3G before the first team kicked off at the same venue.
It was a big moment for both Kanli and Salisbury who both netted for the first time for the senior side and will be keen to continue that in competitive action when the season begins next month.
The Reserves next face Henllan Reserves on Wednesday at Ysgol Bro Cinmeirch at 19:00.
