Denbigh Town saw mixed results in December but plenty of superb individual performances.

Sam Duffy

In a breakout month for Sam Duffy the forward netted three in three in the JD Cymru North whilst also providing an assist as Town made it through to the Quarter-Final of the JD Welsh Cup. The 22-year old forward scored three games on the trot against Prestatyn Town, Buckley Town and Ruthin Town. In the latter he also grabbed an assist in a superb month for the forward also nominated for the league wide honour for December.

Aaron Jones

Goalkeeper Aaron Jones has had possibly his best season in a Denbigh Town shirt with another great month for the club. Jones had a man of the match performance against Ruthin in the Vale of Clwyd Derby as he continued his great form.

Nathan Brown

Nathan Brown’s scoring form continued well into December opening the month with an incredible display. The winger bagged a hatrick of goals against Llanuwchllyn in the Welsh Cup before finding the net away at Ruthin two weeks later.

19-year old Alfie Vaughan has done superbly since returning to the side and shown consistent play throughout December. Operating at left wing back during the month he’s shown quality at both the back and moving forward, whilst he was unlucky not to open his Denbigh account when smashing the crossbar in the derby.
