Denbigh Town Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of Aidan Higgins, following his departure from Swansea City.

The 18-year-old midfielder joins the club following spells at academy level with Manchester United and most recently the Swans.

“I’m really happy to sign for the club and can’t wait to get going” said Higgins.

“I’ve already trained with the lads who’ve welcomed me well and the standard is really high, hopefully we can achieve things this season in the Cymru North”.

Manager Dewi Llion added “We’re really pleased to have Aidan joins us.

“He played with United up until 16 and has had plenty of football at academy level with Swansea before coming here, he’ll be a great addition for us.

Higgins joined Manchester United as a youngster and was capped at Wales U16 level, making three appearances before signing a scholarship with Swansea in 2023.

He spent two seasons with the Swans featuring in the Professional Development League South. Higgins featured regularly on the scoresheet for the EFL Championship clubs U18s before his departure at the end of last season.
